We were supposed to go up to Denver today for Fright Fest at Eliches but we decided to stay home because of the weather (that ended up being a great decision). So we carved our pumpkins instead.

Halloween...One Week Early
Kevin leaves tomorrow for a 2 week trip across the Atlantic Ocean, so we celebrated Halloween this weekend. Yesterday we went to The Wishing Star Farm in Black Forest. We each picked a pumpkin and got to see some great farm animals too. We saw pigs, goats, llamas, sheep, horses, bunnies, and a CAMEL! It was a great little farm and the pumpkins were as close to perfect as I have ever seen!
Here are our two perfect pumpkins!
We got to pet the camel. He was awfully friendly.
The scenery was beautiful.
