We’re ENGAGED!
That being said, you can imagine we had a great Christmas! We woke up on Christmas morning and went over to Kevin’s parents’ house. We had a delicious breakfast and then opened gifts. It was a great and relaxing morning! We followed the annual tradition and went over to the house of some great friends of the Branford’s for turkey lunch, and then Kevin and I went over to my Mom’s house for Christmas dinner. It was a long and extremely busy day, but we had a great time.
Christmas morning: pre-engagement
We got home around 10pm and got into our warm PJ’s. We were standing in the kitchen when he told me he bought me a gift – even though we decided not to buy gifts for each other this year. He pulled the box out of his jacket pocket (which he carried around with him all day!) and got down on one knee! I was completely surprised and overjoyed! I am not sure if I ever said “yes” but I am pretty sure my crying and jumping up and down gave him the answer he needed. It was the best Christmas surprise ever!
About 5 minutes after he "poped the question". Making the first phone call to my mom!

It was the best Christmas ever, and I look forward to the rest of our Christmases together!

He did do good!! I am so excited for you guys!! Sorry it didn't work out to see you this week- it was just a very busy nonstop day and half... miss you!!
