Cruise to Alaska

In July 2007 my parents and I went on a cruise to Alaska. It was so beautiful...I would recommend the trip to anyone! It was a 7 day cruise to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria. We went whale watching, saw glaciers and sled dogs, and went zip lining in the rain forest. Such a great trip. Here are a few pictures of the highlights of the trip.

Some of the Humpback whales we saw on our whale watching excursion. We saw a heard of like 16 different whales. It was so amazing, they were so close to our boat.

This is the Mendenhall Glacier. It was gigantic and so beautiful.

We canoed right up to the base of this glacier. The colors were spectacular.

We were able to get close to this glacier in Tracey Arm Fjord on our own cruise ship. We went out on our balcany and got a beautiful view.

We went ziplining in one of the Alaska Rainforests. This was all the gear we had to wear.

Out of aver 300 pictures I narrowed it down to 5. Obviously there were just a few of the highlights of the trip. It gives you an idea of the beauty we have right here in the United States.
